esa is industry leader for health and safety

Accommodation solutions provider, esa, has scored highly in a recent external health and safety audit of its serviced apartments and Head Office, placing the company well ahead of the industry benchmark.

The report by CSC ltd showed that esa has excelled in Safety Management and Administration, Safety Practices and Hazards, Fire Safety Management and Fire Practices and Hazards. Following the formation of a dedicated Health and Safety Management Team last year, the company has seen a significant improvement in safety, scoring 18% higher than last year.

Announcing the results of the audit, Charlie Turner, CEO of esa said:

"The health and safety of our employees and guests is paramount so we are delighted to see esa leading the field with these excellent audit results. We have put in place a number of measures over the last 12 months to assess and manage risks effectively across our portfolio, ensuring we are compliant in all areas. Our continued focus on improving training, equipment, signage and reporting is now delivering a safer environment for everyone."

The company's excellent health and safety audit score is the latest in a series of successes for esa's Operations and Property team, following its retention of the ASAP Quality Marque in November and its nomination for best team in the serviced apartment awards in December.
